Shafers offers a modern GPS solution for todays modern service businesses. We offer a complete package that will give you ultimate control and organization of your entire fleet.

Shafer's new AVL system will give you the edge over your competitors and can be used with or without Mobile Office. The GPS device communicates with an existing government satelite system to continuously provide location coordinates for each technician. The entire system works together, importing the coordinates and sending them to the back office, allowing your dispatchers to track a vehicle's speed, direction and how long it was parked at each stop, at any time with a real-time wireless connection. In the back office, Shafer's Dispatch Board uses AVL and a MapLink interface to read GPS coordinates and display them on a map using integrated mapping software (sold separately). Your dispatchers will be able to request any technicians current location and receive the position, displayed on a map, in real time. Other features include the ability to see everywhere technicians have been (crumb trails) and an exception report, listing all coordinates not relating to service calls (an indication of vehicle abuse).
