Quick Quotes
Overview “Powerful” is the only word needed to describe Shafer’s exciting new Quick Quotes module. Designed to enhance your sales process, a phone call or a set of plans is all that is needed to quickly create a quote that can include any level of detail including descriptions, parts/material, labor, etc.
You can create Alerts and Follow Up messages so that a new quote is not overlooked. Added personalization options will allow you to change the “name” of your document to a Quote, Proposal or Estimate. You'll be able to arrange the sections of your quote and choose how much detail is displayed for each section.
Integration with a number of other modules throughout Shafer's makes this a powerful feature to have working for you. The Customer Master and Sales Lead files will let you generate new quotes, as well as the Service Work Generator (PIW) master files. Once a quote is completed, a single Print/Send function will allow you to print the document, fax it or email it as an attachment to the customer. You will also be able to export the data. All quotes are saved and stored in the master file where they are created so that they may easily be retrieved. When the quote is accepted, it can easily be processed for billing, shipping, etc.
