Digital Flat Rate
Overview
Shafer's Digital Flat Rate Program provides an appealing alternative to the printed flat rate book. Integrated with Shafer's Mobile Office Program, digital flat rate allows technician to input all of the information relating to the service call and present it to the customer using a small handheld computer. The program allows the technician to complete a Jobsite Evaluation survey and determine all repairs that are needed or suggested. Flat Rate Scenarios are then added to the screen and the customer may either accept or refuse them during the Customer Presentation. Although hundreds of scenarios are available, many times additional parts are needed or some not needed at all. For this reason, any chosen scenario may be edited to precisely match the situation for which the technician has been called. Once the customer accepts and the work is complete, the customer has the ability to sign right on the computer screen, creating a Digital Signature that will print on the invoice. Credit cards may be scanned on-site with a Credit Card Scanner and a Professional Invoice, complete with your company logo, may be given to the customer right then.And, when it's all said and done, all of the information collected is then transferred wirelessly to the back office. All of these features combined make Shafer's Digital Flat Rate System a great solution for automating your service calls.

Using Shafer's Digital Flat Rate and Mobile Office Programs make documenting the customer’s service repair requirements simple. Choose from a multitude of pre-programmed, pre-defined flat rate scenarios.
Technicians can evaluate the customer's equipment for the immediate service problem and provide the customer with a full survey, listing all items that are needed for the job.

Unlike the Shafer's Flat Rate Book, once the job scenario is displayed the technician is given a nearly unlimited amount of information.
For example, the description can be simple or as descriptive as needed.
It is here that our digital flat rate really excels.Not only are the parts listed to help the technician evaluate and properly match up the job, the technician can easily add or remove parts from the list. Shafer's Digital Flat Rate will make all adjustments to the scenario, and even do the math for the technician. Warranty parts are also handled automatically.

The technician can show the customer a detailed description of all recommended repairs along with pricing. YOu can easily view the details of each scenario and delete them if necessary.
