Overview

Shafer's invoice processing is different than most generic programs. We've designed our invoice around the idea that "what you see is what you get" (WYSIWYG). Shafer's programming department has created an invoice format screen that looks just as it does when printed for the customer. This helps make your billing operators job easier and eliminate missing or incomplete information.

Shafer's invoices can be sent via email from within Shafer's software and when a customer requests an invoice, it may be sent from within the customers master file.

· Invoice Format

Shafer's invoice processing screen is user-friendly and designed to make processing invoices a snap! The way this screen looks is how the invoice will print so you will know for sure exactly how it is going to look BEFORE printing.

· Printed Invoice

The final invoice mirrors the invoice processing screen. Click on the image at right to see an example of the Shafer's invoice. Compare to the image above and you will see why we are proud of our WYSIWYG billing system.

· Send Invoices Via Email

Once the invoice is billed, from our preview option, you can Email the invoice directly to the customer using either the PDF, Excel or RTF (Rich Text Format) option. Selecting the Email option saves time and money (not to mention paper).

· Send Re-print to Customer

From the Service History folder in the customer master record, select any past invoice and re-send it to the customer at any time. Send either as an Excel, RTF or PDF file using Shafer's own email feature. No need to even open an external Email program.
