Over 30 years of experience in both the service and software industries goes into the design of a customer management system that will enable you to take care of all your customers needs simply and effectively.
Our Customer Master File provides detailed information for each customer, holding the particulars for equipment items, tenant lists, billing terms, credit limits, maintenance agreements, and much, much more! Administrators and management will even have the ability to edit user security settings so that users are given access to only the information management chooses. · Find the Contact Quickly
Searching for customers has never been this quick and easy! Our powerful customer search Engine includes 15 different searchable fields by which to locate specific customers and users may arrange these fields in order to compliment your business' operating procedures. User-defined fields allow your company to customize the search process even further.

· Filtering Data
in addition to using up to 15 different search fields to locate customers, your customer data may be mined or filtered up to 9 different ways to provide users with detailed queries. Filters may be turned on or off and hidden when not in use.

· Display Format
The Customer Search Engine comes with a standard display format listing search results in a format we have designed. Custom display formats, which are user-defined and can be set up effortlessly, will display only that information which is relevant to the user or department.

· Bill to/Tenants
If your customer is a tenant or has tenants of its own that may be affected by billing, the Customer records can be linked easily via our Bill To feature.

· Alerts
From time to time customers may have special handling instructions or notes that need to be considered when scheduling service or maintenance. For this reason our customer record provides an alert option that will not be missed! Alerts can be listed on the customer master record as well as notify any system user upon login. Alerts on the customer record may be set to flash or show automatically and must be hidden before any other information may be viewed ensuring they are seen. In addition alerts may also be included on Dispatches and/or Billings.

· Contacts
The contact information within the customer master record is critical. For this reason Shafer's has no limit to the number of contact names, phone numbers and email addresses that may be entered. As with other modules within Shafer's, the contact information entered here will populate the Contact Manager.

· Templates
When entering a new customer, Shafer's allows you the ability to use a template. This not only speeds up the process of entry but also ensures that no fields are left blank so that the customer record is as accurate as possible.

· Security
Shafer's file security is standard to all modules. For each integrated module you can select Full Access, No Access or Selected Options access for every user. The Selected Options security setting provides: 1) menu options and 2) folder options.

· Taking a Service Call
Once the customer master file has been reviewed the dispatcher need only press a button to schedule service. Once the dispatch record is complete the call is added to the dispatch board and displayed with a NEW icon so that it stands out.

· Sales Leads
Whenever an existing customer indicates that future service may be needed, a sales lead record can be generated directly from the customer's master file. Sales leads are stored within the Sales and Marketing module. However, they may be accessed from the customer's file at any time.
